Aquila was launched by Derecktor as Cakewalk, one of the largest yachts built in the United States, and was extensively refitted in 2021 with lines by Tim Heywood and interiors by RWD. Her party deck has a DJ booth and lighting effects, and a firepit lounge sets the scene after dark.
Twelve guests share seven cabins: a full-beam owner's suite with study, four VIP cabins and two twins with Pullman berths, a layout well suited to multigenerational families. A spa with massage room, a beach club, a private cinema, a gym, a deck Jacuzzi and an elevator complete the picture. Her tenders include a Vikal limousine tender, an award-winning Compass tender and a Riva AquaRiva, and a crew of 28 cruises with her in the Western Mediterranean in summer and the Caribbean in winter.
