Few yachts carry a story like Christina O. Built in 1943 as HMCS Stormont and transformed by Aristotle Onassis, she has hosted Winston Churchill, John Kennedy, Maria Callas, Marilyn Monroe, Richard Burton and Elizabeth Taylor. Her clipper bow, long sheer and yellow funnel, drawn by Caesar Pinnau, remain unmistakable among modern superyachts.
At 99 metres (325 ft) she welcomes 34 guests in 17 cabins, led by the Onassis Suite on the bridge deck. Four salons, a formal dining room for around 40, Ari's Bar, the Lapis Lounge with its lapis lazuli fireplace, a library and a children's playroom fill her decks. The famous Minoan-mosaic pool rises to become a dance floor, and massage therapists are included in the charter rate. A crew of 38 looks after her guests in the Mediterranean in summer and the Caribbean in winter.
