SILVER WIND is unmistakable on the water: a 43.63-metre (143 ft) ISA planing yacht with a silver hull, a top speed of around 25 knots and the pace to cover a different port every day. Launched by International Shipyard Ancona in 2014 and updated in 2018, she carries an interior by Nuvolari & Lenard finished in Canaletto walnut and Palissandro rosewood, and electric zero-speed stabilisers that run far more quietly than hydraulic systems.
Up to 11 guests share five cabins, each with its own bathroom. At the bow end of the main deck, the owner's full-beam suite is laid out over two levels, with a private study and a noise-cancelling system, and the VIP is set apart by its gold overhang. The round dining table near the aft deck seats six, eight or twelve thanks to leaves hidden in the walls, the sundeck pairs a jacuzzi for four with a bar and a full-beam sunbed, and a mirrored gym opens onto the swim platform. Her summer base is Imperia or Monaco.
